So the 1st Netweather StormChase BBQ Was held at Che Sherman on 26th July and was well attended from people as far away as Cork, Cumbria, Wales and Teeside. Had 20 people down in the end and a good time was had by all.

We are hoping to have 1 of these every year and make them as big and as social as the US Stormchaser BBQ Which attracts over 100 people every May!

Had a great day meeting up with friends and meeting new faces. It was so nice to meet up with 2009 Tour 1 again - but Pat (dogs32) was very much missed :D Thank you so much to Paul for hosting the BBQ and making sure that there was enough food and drink to feed the whole of Leigh-on-Sea :D Looking forward to meeting up again soon.

Just got back after an epic 276 mile journey in 5.5 hours!! Managed to keep going on a cheese and onion pasty, a bottle of coke and crisps and chocolate!!

Thanks a million to Paul for putting together one of the best BBQ's I've ever been at. I have to agree big time with Tammy about Pat not being there. We really missed him. Hopefully will catch up with Mr Rotation soon.

Here's a few more pics taken yesterday.

Nice to hear you got home safe and sound. My three BBQ burger butties saw me home safely too. Will try to arrange a meeting.
