  3. I've woke up to cooler mornings in summer!! Took the dogs out and if it wasn't for the rain I could have managed without a jacket on!

  5. Late October night and its nearly 16C?!! It actually feels warm outside even with the breeze!! Just feels wrong...

  6. 27th October and temp is close to 18c with sunshine, just mowed the grass wish I'd put shorts on now, got a bit of a sweat on!

      It's more that the ground is too warm rather than too wet. By this evening the ground will have cooled sufficiently enough for at least a slushy covering. I'd imagine Cumbria will do very well over the next 24 hours.

  14. Hoping the cold spell can last until at least the 5th Feb as I'll be in the Highlands at the beginning of next week! I want snow and ice not slush! :)

      This late season extended Summer has really helped produce some great crops this year. Loved being out in the countryside foraging in the warm sunshine!

      I've been holding out on buying a TV as new models keep coming out every few months! Just waiting for one that has a built in microwave oven!
