In Verwood we had a thunder and lightning show from the SE to SW coming towards us for about 30 minutes, then the storm hit us for about 20 minutes, 33mm according to our local facebook weather expert. A good one.

I see the Met was widened the rain and storms yellow for Saturday in the south, includes Dorset now. Also Sunday now includes Cornwall, Devon Avon and S Wales. hopefully my water buts will be overflowing by sunday
