    I think we're going to get an in-between solution here (ECM and GFS P) The lows don't merge on GFS P like ECM

    I think your more likely to get a ssw during nino/nina winters.. Nuetral conditions makes it less likely.

    Flippin' eck!!... now that would be an exciting experience, but I don't think the garden enthusiasts would be too pleased.., It could be down to the positive AO this spring/summer...

    Really enjoying this weather and long may it continue. I've also been doing a lot of work in my mums garden and done two BBQ's already ... the only thing that worries me is the lack of rain, the ground round here is dry already.

    When I was six, me and my brother were climbing a tree on the beach that had a wasp nest in it - when he jumped off, he shook the branch and disturbed them and I felt the full force of the colony - I was stung everywhere... even down my throat. My dad picked me up and dipped me in the sea water and made me gargle it. I was very sore for the journey back home, but at least the sea water had prevented the swelling in my throat... thank god.

    Yup, it's always better for settling snow up that way - must be slightly colder. I was at my parent's house earlier on Selsdon park rd and it was settling nicely. Where abouts are you up there?

    The intensity's slowed down and most of the snow has melted...just a few patches left now.
