  1. A glimmer of hope at the end of ECM: A wedge of heights to hopefully derail the powerful jet.
  2. We're still in with a chance for Wednesday .. I've seen these situations before where the low moves slightly further north than the models anticipated. And in this situation we don't want it to move too far north so the cold air doesn't get mixed out; just few more runs to get through, then I'll be watching it's track on the radar. Yes, chance of a few flurries this evening too.
  3. It's looking good with heights building over the atlantic again which will hopefully migrate towards scandy :
  4. Right, i'm off to do some work but i'm more optimistic after seeing the latest runs.
  5. Yes, maybe but it goes to show how quickly things can change? It's premature to say we'll be locked in a zonal pattern until the end of Feb.
  6. That deep cold over NA is being shifted quickly which should hopefully calm the jet down a bit:
  7. More snow potential for along the far south though and these fronts sometimes get as far as south London
  8. ICON is an improvement at 120 - looks like it's sending the energy SE and it's more amplified east of Greenland:
  9. I was the same at first until the ECM started messing around with collapsing the block over Greenland I then started hoping for at least a good few days of snowfall.
