    Sun back out. Different areas (driving round because that’s my job) within a couple of miles have stark differences. Some areas of Runcorn have snow on the ground, others have slush, but the one that’s standing out most is toward the more rural end where the temperature was lower, it’s fell as more icy rain, making it super treacherous

    Back end turned to sleety rain. The air feels way milder now. Jumped from -1.5C to +1.5C.

    Few flakes falling here. Snow evident on the car this morning too.

    +0.2C with that cloud cover. Was way colder earlier on! It should clear soon though.

    It lasted about 30 seconds. Nothing on the radar so assume just a locally-grown flurry. Runcorn has been poor for snow since around 2015 I believe. Didn’t have any last winter. The last flakes I saw were November 2021, that was all! Nothing to write home about. 30 second flurry, haha

    Even more surprising is Costa Del Runcorn just had a shower. Full snow!

    Already -1.0C and dropping like a stone.

    Evident this morning on a drive to Liverpool. Close to -4C at home, 5 miles further towards the river and the car shot up to 2C!

    Met Office going for 4C and rain turning to snow on Saturday. Temps in the forecast keep going up every time I check it. So too do the cloud amounts.

    Quite contrary as their PPN charts showed rain for several hours last time I checked it!

    -3.7C. That’s the last recorded temp before my sensor froze and died. Is anyone local selling a weather station? I’ve been to many shops trying to get a new one, but no one seems to know what one is. Amazon are my last resort today, but thought I’d try here first? Not got a massive budget, but if anyone’s selling a reliable one I’ll come pick it up asap!

    Well that’s the first. It got so cold that it froze and crashed my outdoor temp sensor. Had to manually restart it. Last recorded temp was -3.0c
