Curiously on the South coast its suddenly got warmer in the past 2 hours. Been warm all day now suddenly getting hot and its nearly 1/2 8

This is weird. Gonna get technical now... The Big orange blob in the channel seems to have reversed direction and is heading inland now towards the Sussex coast! It was going due East right along the channel but it seems has gone in reverse almost.Very light snow looking from my window for the nowcast . looks like its heading inland

In Worthing not far from Brighton and we've had a couple of light flurries but still no serious snow - its out there but hasn't come North so far. Friend of mine in the isle of wight has tremendous snow Fingers crossed

You get a build up of snow & ice on the Insulators. This creates a small arc or short which results in flickering lights

Would there be any chance that the Mpemba effect would have any impact on the re-freezing of the ice as the sea is warmer?
