As SOHO is a joint NASA/ESA mission, it has 2 site's with exactly the same data (american and european)
http://soho.esac.esa.int/ - Link to euro one, might get lucky . Seems to work for me atm
Edit: seems to be going really slow, suppose this is the 'comet of the century'
Many experienced observers seem to be in agreement that it may have. Others though are skeptical. This will the biggest anticlimax of recent times if it's just fizzled out before perihelion
ISON's looking like a real beaut now, some of the pics on @ISONupdates on twitter are awesome! https://twitter.com/ISONUpdates Estimates going for Mag 5 now, so should be naked eye (faint though), albeit with some averted vision. Should be an easy spot in bino's
"This is the early phase of the outburst as the dust is still close to the nucleus and we should still expect a large increase of the magnitude and the coma diameter if more dust is released in the coming days.
The comet will become rapidly visible naked eye if the outburst last a few more days !"
That's from the Comets ML yahoo group. Looks like we're in for a good display if it keeps it up
Up at 5am this morning for a wee look and found Lovejoy easily in 10x42mm binoculars above the sickle of Leo. Didn't try for ISON as it was a bit low in the sky and i'm not too familiar with the constellation Virgo so probably wouldn't be able to pick it out with twilight approaching. Further obs this morning from the pro's are going for Mag 6 to 6.5 brightness for ISON. 5.5 or thereabouts for Lovejoy Also interesting to note that Comet C/2013 V3 (Nevski) has brightened to Mag 8.9! Might break the Mag 8 barrier and become the 5th comet to grace our morning skies!
!!
Yup some french fella's reporting the brightness has increased by 1 Mag. If it clears here tonight i might have a go with the binoculars, along with Comet Lovejoy

Southern England now in full scale shutdown mode for tomorrow AM. I look forward to the rolling coverage on sky news and the constant updates from some guy standing on a bridge over the M25
Fairly sure this was asked in the convective thread the other night but cant seem to find it.
Anybody have any idea what could be causing the weird anaprop that covers all of SW Scotland at random intervels?
Seen it for quite a few days now
That shower to my S/SE (Catch's direction) has turned electrical according to the netweather radar, hope it moves ever so slightly to the west otherwise i'll be sideswiped Edit: Also got my eye on that Carlise cell
Moving off north now, but can't complain. Just been treated to 30 mins of loud thunder (some shotgun), CG lightning, fork lightning and torrential rain. Slap bang overhead . Still flashes in the distance now, fingers crossed for more
Shaping up to be a rather pleasant afternoon here, potentially hot. Currently 20C with clear blue skies. We had the dreaded north sea cloud earlier but it vanished around 10am
