Bit of a contrast this morning... Off to Porlock Weir for a few days. Wet weather gear is packed.

Dodged the showers earlier, but it's now raining. Off for a week after today. Was hoping for a break in the weather to get away for a few days, but any potential rise in pressure looks too far away. Bit annoying.

Not bad out there now. Hazy sunshine. Weekend was a cloudfest. Driving back from Salisbury on Saturday morning, it looked pretty clear towards Purbeck. Yesterday was greenhouse dismantling day. Time for an upgrade, and one that I can actually fit in.

Bit grim out. The weekend was great though. Also saw three Kingfishers in two days. Two locally on the Avon on Friday morning and one on the Stour at Wimborne, on Saturday.

I bought a bluegrass banjo a few months ago. Really enjoying learning the various rolls and it's helping my picking on the guitar. Must admit, I've never listened to much bluegrass before, if any.... still not sure if I'll get into it, but I'm loving learning to play.

Have we had a lick of paint in here? Lovely start this morning down on the Avon. Sun rising through the mist on the meadows was 👌 Still decent out there now and it looks like a useful weekend coming up. 5hrs and counting. 🌤️🍻🤞

Yep. Was saying this at the weekend. Pressure's off. Perhaps the difference in quality isn't that great between the prem clubs. Just how they handle the crowd. I go down to Saints quite a bit and they've been awful at home. They actually won a home game at the weekend. Neil Warnock was also on FiveLive last night saving that he's enjoying it, as he can coach his players throughout the game. Not a chance with the crowd there.

All done. Picked 2KG of sloes, so had to buy some more gin. 😄

Nice. I was waiting for a frost, which we've now had. Apparently, that's a thing?? I might wander over there later.

Rotten again. Was hoping to go out and collect some sloes today, but have binned that off.
