Back in blighty after a couple of weeks dashing about in Croatia. No direct hits from the storms in the Adriatic during the first week, but saw a couple of CGs over Korcula, from Hvar. Here's a lenticular cloud North of Split. Nobody else on the bus was taking pictures, so obviously nobody else is as sad as me. Some storms clouds building to the North of Split. And the sunset back here, 10 minutes ago.

On our hols and just missing out... There's more activity further South, so hoping it might go bang when we pop out for some tea later. ?️

Or get in the car and head North. That's what we'll be doing, if it looks brighter up there. We're brewing in Christchurch tomorrow, so they'll be no escape from the gloom down there by the looks of it.

Hoping the One O'clock News stays with their outside broadcast at Westminster. The squall line shoud be passing through there in a bit. Edit : Here it comes. Edit Edit : They switched back to the studio just after it hit.

Fantastic afternoon at St Mary's yesterday watching Saints turn it around against Spurs. Windy, but not as windy as it is now. We're off to Southbourne later for a wander. Hopefully this cloud will continue to be swept away. ?️

Yeah, I could see it coming when I headed out at 7:30. Caught the first bit on the way home, but managed to avoid the heaviest rain... just.

I'm stood in the garden looking South for distant lightning, like a prize pillock. I swear this is more fun in the Summer. Edit : I'm not now. It's raining at 4C, on the nose down in the valley.

Rain at 4.8C here Andy, but there was a distant flash to SSW a few minutes ago. Looks like that cell in the Channel is sparking up a bit. Edit : 3.9C now.
