Random heavy shower over us, just then. Actually felt stormy for a bit. Wasn't a bad day all in all. Christchurch early on, then back to Salisbury to take my Mum and bro out for a late lunch in the Haunch of Venison. Sunny and breezy most of the way through. I delighted in showing the severed hand to some American tourists. They were disgusted. It was the Apaches from Middle Wallop Army Air Corps. They were buzzing over here between 9:30 and 10pm last night. Pretty low too. We get them all the time down here. They seem to use Clearbury as a waypoint, or similiar. I don't mind them and the Chinooks. It's the horrible whiny Eurocopter that uses the fields on the other side of the A338 that gets to me, although they don't do it so much these days.

Back in blighty after a couple of weeks dashing about in Croatia. No direct hits from the storms in the Adriatic during the first week, but saw a couple of CGs over Korcula, from Hvar. Here's a lenticular cloud North of Split. Nobody else on the bus was taking pictures, so obviously nobody else is as sad as me. Some storms clouds building to the North of Split. And the sunset back here, 10 minutes ago.

On our hols and just missing out... There's more activity further South, so hoping it might go bang when we pop out for some tea later. ?️
