  1. If we could just get a more north east feed rather than a n/nw shown in the models everyone would be in for the fun!
  2. Agreed, then it decays as it hits suffolk into kent... Not looking forward to this cold spell at all, another damn squib
  3. Seems like weather forecasters are as bad there as they are here and don't like to be criticized
  4. Yeh like the coldest weather in two years, for the previous cold blip? Good luck with that
  5. I still remain doubtful just like I was with the last two cold spells, or flinting glances more like..... Coldest weather in two years my ass *Met Office*.
  6. You and me both, it's actually failed twice now... However rather than just a moan post, let's hope the model's factor in how strong this northerly might be, any mild sectors etc
  7. Matt Taylor talking about the potential for a small low pressure that could form to the east of the English channel pepping up the sleet and snow showers towards the southeast on Wednesday.
  8. Funny, last week they were forecasting 2C and 3C. Useless lot
  9. Fergie also mentioned 2-5cm poss on Sunday later, so much for that then
  10. Exactly what I expected really, happens 80% of the time with easterlies... This cold spell/snap isn't looking that great tbh at least from a general viewpoint
  11. I really don't see it personally, expect rain south of the M4
  12. Doubtful... I expect people are seeing blue too much. This really depends on what this low pressure system does, we have been here many many times before and the direction hardly ever favours the uk except in rare occasions
  13. BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG All **** night with neighbours who were too lazy to shut a gate properly. I was tempted to do it by myself but that meant walking up an alley, getting soaked for someone else's lazyness
  14. Which is what I said would happen, it happens time and time again! Why I don't know This is looking like another mid/northern affair, I feel for you southerners
  15. Something most people haven't realised is the models tend to overdo the uppers, on many occasions deep 850's such as these have been pushed further away from our shores back across europe nearer the time. Sometimes we've expected -10 and got -4 instead
  16. I can't remember that many convective snow showers from uppers of -2, many great falls have been between -8 and -10. Unless you want a sleety north sea mix
  17. This! And -5 uppers isn't that good, -10 gives a more accurate telling for snowfall
