It looks like the band might slide slightly east of West Midlands but hopefully increase shower activity through Cheshire gap as slides past.
It does actually seem to be intensifying in the Irish seas north of Wales. May be a surprise later
I suppose the best thing is to get cold air in first then look for snow from maybe disturbances, frontal snow or showers from there. For once it does look being bitter later in the week.
Just woke up to about a cm dusting here. With very light snow falling. Can't remember last time I actually seen it snow in day light hours. Is this front from south West likely to bring any snow later?
