Coming down all morning, transitioning between light and heavy. Currently coming down thick and fast.

Just had an decent shower here, still going now but was fairly intense for 10 mins and looked like a scene from siberia. Looking at the radar, I was fairly lucky.

I'm thinking the showers and streamers will become stronger when the sun rises giving them more chance In sustaining some intensity and pushing further west.

Can small lows develop in this kind of unstable airflow? I cant remember when but do remember a time where a small featur developed on an easterly which wasn't forecast and delivered snow more inland.

Thought I be looking north or north west but seems look north east at the moment.

The snizzle is picking up in intensity now with bigger flakes mixed in. Let's all hope it holds its intensity on its way back south

We haven't had any precipitation over us for a few hours according to the radar but I dont think it has actually stopped snizzling.

Its not forecast to die out before brum but it will start decaying. I think many areas will see a top up before the day is out.

Automated forecast showing heavy snow later in West Midlands, its seems to be slowing the northern movement with the energy moving from East to west, hopefully should start dropping soon

Its seems on the radar is just about to push through, I'm right on the edge but snowing heavier still.. im trying to work out whats going to happen next as the pivot is happening

Now fairly heavy snow now. Lovely to look at on a Sunday morning.

Snowing in wednesbury moderately. Seems the really heavy stuff is slightly south slowly pushing north still

I watched the last post as it came in. Its crazy how rain was blowing from the south west then changed from the north west so fast. Like in a split second. Hoping for the cold air to dig in now.

Is a bust now. The area up north keeps going west.. not dropping at all.

Had drizzle on and off this morning with a little thaw even though there was nothing in radar. Had slightly heavier precipitation which did show on the radar and it snowed lightly for 10 minutes. We just need some precipitation to move south.

I though the front would drop south but now looks like its all sliding SE into Wales. Disappointing.
