Yep back home now just wanted to thank everybody that managed to turn up it was a great weekend glad everyone had a great time hopefully we did not scare off the newbies :lol: well me thinks a early night and looking forward to to meeting up with everyone on tour 5 and to all the other tours have a great time out there. Claire no probs will do, rough plan is to meet at premier inn around 1400 have a few beers there leaving there around 1700 a few pints in city center then meals booked for 1900 at maxwells then more beer in a bar then for those still able to stand night club then kebab then taxi back to hotel then fry up in the morning

Lewis if you budget for 50dollers a day that will more than cover things as expensive days get balanced out with cheap ones Ian

Hi all, Right first off sorry to hear you wont be there Arron will miss you there but i'm sure you will be having a cracking time up north. After the recce of Oxford last weekend I can say I am happy with the hotel it is a fair way outside of Oxford but is only £9 in a taxi for 4 people to share so not to expensive the rooms are clean and comfortable with good showers friendly staff a good bar to chill in on arrival, and I have decided on an American diner restaurant for dinner Maxwells bar and grill they do not have a website but the food I found to be very good service was good and a starter and main course with a couple of drinks was £25 with tip so not bad and there is a selection of night clubs to choose from the one I went to was the Lava Lounge which had three rooms with a varied mix of music RNB current and then classic proclamers and the like Hotel info and map via link http://www.premierinn.com/en/hotel/OXFLON/oxford there are still rooms they are now £77 a room so if you have not already done so book up while you can. Hi all, We will be staying in the Premier inn in Oxford I booked through Premierinn.com its the closest one to oxford when you search for Oxford and the rooms are £71 per room so I advise doubling up and spliting the cost with some one the hotel address is Premier Inn Oxford business park Garsington Road Oxford OX4 2JT TEL 0871 527 8866 The hotel has free parking and is about 3 miles outside Oxford its around a 10 pound taxi ride into town so £2.50 eash in fares the closer to town you get the more expensive it gets. I will post a rough plan of action when i get back from Oxford at the end of this month I am planning for an Italian meal for the evening I know of a veggie that is coming is there anyone else that has dietry needs could you let me know so I can find a suitable place .
