  1. The Ecms charts look about the same now as they do in ten days time! Hope the ten day chart is wrong!
  2. Gfs paints a poor outlook for Iberia and North Africa , in the next ten days ....
  3. Well the clocks go forward Saturday night, well at least that's one hours less rain....!
  4. The 12z gfs is a continuation of what has been over and over recently, with perhaps a little respite over Easter ,before it all kicks off again later on Tuesday. Hopefully it's wrong, but if this keeps up, where I live and other parts of the country , will be like the great flood of 1886 ,when most of Worcestershire was under water ......
  5. Buzz don’t get me started about lack of water infrastructure due to many years of neglect. We have had enough rainfall to fill a reservoir the size of the Uk , there is simply no excuse…..
  6. Sun Chaser yes ,I've learnt never to say never with what the weather will and can do ! I've had egg on my face lots of times with weather surprises ....

  12. cheeky_monkey okay thanks for response but we will have to agree to disagree. Perhaps a meteorite will wipe mankind out , we shall see. All of which we have no control
  13. cheeky_monkey with respect, that’s your hypothesis. It’s just as likely that aliens have invaded our planet by then Who knows? Answer :-No one.
  14. Sun Chaser CFS= Crappy Forecasting System.
  15. SunSean you’re lucky , I got Nimbostratus
  16. andy989 yep ,if you have a look at the latest radar ,it's picking up snow over Dartmoor.....
  17. In Absence of True Seasons indeed. The thing is ,this weather is not that out of place for the UK, for this time of year, it's quite normal. But ,the persistents , of the unsettled conditions and Longevity of this weather is quite unusual, not saying it's unprecedented but certainly will go down as the most long lived unsettled conditions for many decades...even southern Europe as you mentioned is very similar to our weather. Feel sorry for the folks who spent a small fortune to go to Spain and the Canaries to see some sun and ended up with just what they left here in the UK. ....
  18. Better than expected. Warm sunshine
  19. WeatherArc indeed. Very rare setup ,and given skies were clear ,the thunderstorm could be seen up to 80 miles away. A rare beaut which may not be seen again in that set up for donkeys years to come.☺
  20. Hi, just wondering if anyone else has noticed this ,that I can't access any data whatsoever on the site? Ian.☺
  21. Nothing unusual about lack of precipitation over the North Pole. It's not called a Cold Desert for nothing!
