  1. Well at the moment the rainfall Radar is virtually rainfree right across the nation and Ireland. Not very often you see it like that!
  2. Been a good bank holiday weekend ,mainly dry and warm, with some sunshine, although as I type ,I can hear thunder! So yes a fitting end to a lovely spell of weather, topped with a thunderstorm! ☺
  3. Addicks Fan 1981 the winds won't be wafting in from the south ,if models are correct.....!☺
  4. WeatherArc looks like the DFW metroplex could well be affected. Although for all the various reasons ,I hope not!
  5. Dangerous55019 well that's scuppered the chances for that....
  6. A large area of Cirrostratus Nebulosis ,just starting to break here, so if this hangs around very limited convection, but have the feeling that it may deliver later with some big holes in the clouds to allow convection. ....☺
  7. WYorksWeather okay , will bookmark my thoughts against yours and see later the results! Goodnight.
  8. We are now entering a phase of colder weather , the eruption of Hunga tonga ,has not been realised. Southern Europe this year will get one if not the coldest summer on record, and the UK will be lucky, to get 30c, although the caveat of some of the most intense thunderstorms in decades.........interesting times...☺
  9. What a stonker of a day ,beautiful weather for a change, and Nice to see a rare formation of cloud , Kelvin- Helmholtz. ....taken over the skies of Worcestershire / Gloucestershire. Formed from two gradients of wind ,speed and direction ,at different heights (wind shear) Winds to the base of the cloud far less strong ,winds to the top of the cloud far stronger ,usually as a result of the jet stream over-riding the cloud. A little bit like a strong wind over a body of water ,whipping up the top of the water and making it into peaks ,just like what you see on this photograph about 30,000 feet up in the atmosphere. Interesting that water on Earth and the atmosphere behave very similar in certain situations. ☺
  10. Nice to see some orange colour's appearing on the temperature chart for next week......☺
  11. I really hope not! Tbh ,if they do, their should be a radical rethink to how they are funded. !!!
  12. Don’t get much worse for early May . Temperature around 9/10c and intermittent rain and a cloud base as low as 800ft shrouding the top Of Bredon Hill.
  13. Northwest NI thanks for reminding us what blue skies and sunshine look like ! Give us some please....
  14. I feel like I'm stuck in a time warp. It looks like November outside and feels like November apart from the flour and fauna. So on that note it must be Christmas in a few weeks time ,So happy Christmas, and a happy bright ,sunny new year.....
  15. Just hoping to see some sunshine , feels like a November day..?.
