    when I hit the cold temps there was also a thin layer of dense fog about 2m above the ground.

    Very odd here I have just driven home rom Cambridge and the temp. dropped from -4.5 as I crossed the A14 to -11 within about half a mile!

    MO warnings have only expanded the "icy road" area, the snow warnings still dont include most of east anglia.

    Some extraordinary charts in GFS FI range, will be interesting to see how these develop. The easterly at 336 stretches from the Urals to Canada!

    TEITS right again. Light snow here, not settling (too warm) and not amounting to much on the radar. I think he was half an hour out though. Tscch.
