I highly doubt it. We still have half of December left! Looks like being more mobile and if times right behind any lows and with any clear periods, good chance of frost.13/14c here in Falmouth today. Back home tomorrow. Hope I can see. Bit of snow over Christmas. Saw some on the ground last Easter but it's 2 years now since I saw a proper heavy snow fall. That's what you get for being in kernow I supposeLooking at the dire outlook until the year end (GFS-style wet and windy), I am wondering if the frost last night and this morning will be the last of 2012.

13c and cloudy in Falmouth. Mild. Somewhere in Ireland must be nudging 16c today!!!

When I think back to the Summer, it really does make me think how I dont care about Winter so much anymore. I like snow but you cant beat a day sunbathing or whatever nice on a hot summers day especially down here with the stunning coastline etc.
It was fantastic to know you were going to wake up the next day and it would be hot blazing sunshine, Med like!. Exceptional.

Been nice to have some milder temperatures, 10-12c today. Pleasant.
If this is to be a mild winter, hopefully summer will be good. Not writing winter off by any means nor does the weather work like that but I can hope. Would rather spend hot sunny days here in Falmouth than a cold and snowy one elsewhere.

Back in the Midlands next week. Enjoyed the milder conditions down here in Falmouth today. Christmas Jumper still needed but feels pretty nice even at 10c right now. Charts are quite uninspiring. However if this does turn out to be a milder winter, I think it could signal a return to patterns seen before 2007. Its a long shot but hopefully a good summer 2014 would be on its way. Who knows. Id rather have hot sunny days to enjoy in Cornwall than a little snow at home!

Light frost here in Falmouth at 0c.

Pretty cold for Falmouth tonight! Around 0-2c here currently! Could we get an air frost?
Beautiful day though. First cloudless day in a very long time. With no wind it didnt feel too bad during the day actually!

Anyone see David Braine's Pudsey Ears on Spotlight tonight? Fantastic stuff. Hehe.

Given the FAX charts etc, I wonder if the famous Pembrokeshire Dangler can set up and deliver some wintry showers down here in South West Cornwall? Seems a possibility given the troughs embedded in the flow and the Northerly direction for a time!

Wind gusts forecasts definitely increased here over the last day. Was looking like 45-50mph gusts but now 60mph possibly a little more likely here in Cornwall.

I would tell you things that happened, but there wouldn't be much to tell
Haha. Its like trying to gather children round for story time at the end of a school day.

Felt quite chilly especially during the showers today.
Not used to these temps here when I have been used to 14-18c for weeks day and night in Falmouth!!!
Back in Cornwall tomorrow till mid December.

Listening to Pirate FM in Cornwall right now. Lots of flooding reports on the roads from Falmouth to Helston to Camborne etc etc. Winds picking up there now too. Reports its Gale Force on the Lizard.
Meanwhile here in Stourbridge, light rain and still conditions lol.

Been successful for myself. Sadly the same few missing out. Certainly did well with the midlands and Falmouth combined. Only have to go back 1 week since the last thunderstorm

Quite windy this evening! At least the Christmas period looks to have some active weather. Sadly any snow looks pretty darn unlikely. Longer term signals dont favour much presently either. Good chance of seeing no snow this winter for me if doesnt fall before the time I go back to Cornwall next month!
