  1. Surely on Tuesday you enjoyed long sunny spells and warm temps? 20c and non stop sun almost here. I give up with Telford, Its Hopeless haha.
  2. Its actually been pretty dry since February or so now here. With May potentially looking very dry also, are we slipping back into a prolonged dry spell again? Could be interesting if this coincides with the summer for a change too. Possibly warmer than normal too.
  3. Unlike in SP's odd land, trees are rapidly blooming here, lots of green emerging. Bluebells also peeping through in our woodland now. It could turn out quite a display with plenty of lush green, purple infused with the yellow of the daffodils although I suspect the daffs may begin fading soon enough.
  4. WEDNESDAY: Cloudy for Cornwall. Cloudy start then sunnier for Channel Islands. Cornwall's Forecast: http://www.cciweather.co.uk/#/cornwall/4573724902 Channel Islands Forecast: http://www.cciweather.co.uk/#/channel-islands/4573977985 88 Followers @kernowweather
  5. Very impressive if so. We must have been the warmest region if so with that too. Met office for Hereford Credenhill suggests about 19c though. Pershore at 20c at least though.
  6. Well today can be summed up as: Utterly Fantastic. Almost unbroken sunshine with clouds rarely interfering with the sun and when they did it was very brief. Very warm mid afternoon and with over 20c surpassed, Spring has well and truly set in. However cloudier tomorrow but perhaps some brightness or sunshine late on but not as good as today. Cant wait for the summer after days like today!
  7. What?! Today has been sunny non stop, clouds very rarely interrupting and much warmer? Buggar! Hehe. And now I have the chimnea going, it's a sunny mild and pleasant evening. A good fire to keep me going into the evening. This is the life.
  8. I think we've maxed at about 20.7c best day in such a long time leaving me very happy!
  9. Ill race you Bish. 20.3c according to our local wunderground station. Hehe.
  10. This is soooooooo nice. So long awaited for. How on earth would anyone still want cold now?
  11. Very warm here in the West Midlands too at 20c. Not sure Falmouth is reaching that today. lol
  12. Yep 19-20c here too now. The met office said it would be cloudy. They've got today so wrong. It's gorgeous!
  13. The clouds are melting away rather than building for a change. Just a light breeze. Gorgeous day! About 90% blue sky. I'm back in Falmouth as of next Monday but only for 6 weeks and ill be back again so not long though I will be in and out of Cornwall throughout the summer, probably going down whenever the weather is good.
  14. Beautiful day today. Some fair weather cloud but not spoiling things.
  15. Thankfully those signals for fog never materialised in the end today!
  16. Much sunnier than I expected here today. Fair amount of cloud but this is out more times than not. Consequently feeling pleasant.
  17. MONDAY - Cloudy and damp for Kernow, Sunny start then cloudy and drizzle in the evening for Channel Islands Cornwall's Forecast: http://www.cciweather.co.uk/#/cornwall/4573724902 Channel Islands Forecast: http://www.cciweather.co.uk/#/channel-islands/4573977985 88 Followers @kernowweather
  18. On the face of it, its been very dry on the whole again since late Winter. Have we flipped into a prevailing dry regime following such a predominantly wet one? Drier summer ahead? Its all up in the air wrt to Summer but im dismissing the pessimists who are simply saying cooler and wetter just because of a block of cooler ones previously. It may again happen but theres more to it than just sea ice etc.
  19. What a beautiful day here Saturday was. A few clouds now and again blocked the sun but none of that Telford rubbish down here anyway. Really warm and pleasant in the sun and made for some excellent time sitting out in the sun this afternoon. 14c or so, it felt great.
  20. SATURDAY: Absolutely Glorious. Get out and About and Enjoy! ust the minute risk of a shower and a few more clouds in parts of Kernow than Friday. 21. Thanks for your thoughts there. Yes im seeing a cool first half to May but a much improved second half myself as well as June. Well see how things pan out. Cheers.
  22. What are you thinking with regards to June, July and August at the moment?
  23. I agree RE Cool weather seems automatically locked in. Ive been following the CFS Closely and it seems keen on a cool first half of May but much better in the second half. There are some real pessimists on this forum. Just ignore them.
  24. FRIDAY: Predominantly Fine Spring Day for Kernow and the Channel Islands. Just a few clouds. Cornwall's Forecast: http://www.cciweather.co.uk/#/cornwall/4573724902 Channel Islands Forecast: http://www.cciweather.co.uk/#/channel-islands/4573977985 Big Jump to 80 Followers @kernowweather
