Since starting up around 2PM, the snow now finally appears to be easing off here in Poole. Watching the radar this afternoon made fantastic viewing as the near stationary snow band rotated over the top of us! Totals for today are around 2 inches early this morning and a further 3-4 this evening.. about the best day snowfall wise I think I can recall for this area (well as far back as about Feb 91 I expect). The main precipitation blob is still rotating but appears to be edging gradually WNW. As for tomorrow, the hills north of Blandford are where I'd like to go... but the office is probably where I'll end up
