    Yes I noticed that with the radars to - my son is very Happy as his school sent us a text earlier to say they are closing- I think they all should so the kids can be kids and have some fun...but not all agree with that :/

    So.... The temp is now -0.5 and I still have a feeling snow is on the way here, not cos I have a clue about charts etc but my grandad once said if the fire burns redder than usual and the outside temperature suddenly starts rising when its been freezing all day then its going to snow - well the fires red and the temp has risen so ever hopeful - confused? Me to ...but isnt that what weather forecasting is all about

    Here in Braintree its still snowing lightly but what is falling is settling and the wind has definately got up

    Snowing hard enough here in Braintree now to recover the wet road, im suprised tbh as it was very wet everywhere from the snow melting earlier.

    Snowing here in Braintree again and the wind is howling weather station says 0.8 but it feels more like 15 below freezing brrrr

    í ½í¸³10.5 degrees at 07.28 in December!! Come on !! My cousin moved to Arkansas for warmer winters and they just had snow in little rock on Christmas day for the first time since 1926 - theres no justice he hates snow and gets it, I love snow and could wear swim wear this morning its so warm, theres something seriously not right here grrrrrr going back to bed!!

    What a fantastic idea two weeks of sun and back in time for next cold snap sadly though my son in middle of exams and can't get any time out so back to the drawing board. Be nice to clean the car and go out shopping without slip sliding away.

    Funny you should say that have just been out to feed my chipmunks and they seem to be hibernating after being out all through this cold weather they've been eating and storing food like crazy the last three days wonder if they know something I don't I've not known them to do this before mmm And I agree the roads are In a state they need cleaning to leaves everywhere still next problem with all this excess water will be blocked drains
