  1. Only one little sunspot remains on the surface of the sun today! I wonder how long it will be before the first spotless day! Feeling excited! :-)

      it still felt blistering hot in the summer,low activity or not, I remember the winter

      gritting lorries coming out in force in July, to stop melting tar sticking to tyres lol a bit surreal

      Low activity doesn't mean that the sun won't feel hot in the summer

      The first peak didn't occur when predicted, so if one did happen in the Summer, then there's certainly the possibility of a second peak, which some scientists agree will happen in the next few months, possibly lasting in to 2014. Me being someone who understands cosmology to a certain degree, i think more time needs to be invested in looking at the role cosmic rays play in changing climate and weather. :-)
