    Where did that come from just had flash and rumble thunder here in Clacton

    Very wet 20p flakes here in clacton on sea,settling on cars ,grass and roofs only 1/2 mile from the seafront.

    Got to say forecasts was spot on for here even 3or4days ago sleet snow early saturday turning more to rain as day goes on.

    Stopped here now temp around 1c now so my laying snow on grass will soon go.

    I am under that lot coming in from the sea,very small flakes almost sleet not that heavy so looking worse on radar,slight dusting on grass cars overnight here.

    Wet snow now falling here,settling on cars.

    Just had heavy shower,with a small T Storm just a few miles off the coast,1st proper heavy rain for ages

    Small storm here just now only lasted 10mins,seemed to grow as it moved offshore,two saturday afternoons in a row now with a t-storm

    Storm here now lightning every 3mins or so heavy rain.adding to to 50mm from overnight

    Small thundery shower just now,most of it went just to south of us over the sea , few flashes and bangs

    Hopefully this low cloud will clear a bit so at least if we don't get a storm here we get to see a light show out to sea later this eve

    All moved to the north of us now very near miss to our west and north,looks like its lost its thunder now,saw a nice few cloud to cloud lightning strikes from it,looks like thats it for us now today unless anything moves up from france overnight.

    Dew points are down to -4 from buoys of the norfolk coast at the mo,not holding much hope here in costa del clacton but a bit inland over higher ground will get few cm overnight reckon.
