  1. yes another grey overcast one here, quite a breeze as well supposed to have rain just to jolly things up a bit morehave a good day everyone
  2. horrible drizzle now and quite strong gusty wind heating on and watching place in the sun
  3. Same here horrible grey and wet from earlier rain, felt very chilly when out earlier at local little farm shop, local shops have been so helpful over this last year so its a thankyou to them lovely folk

Lovely bright start to the day 7am blue skies loads of sun, going downhill now still have sun but lots of heavy cloud around luckily my front room has 2 big windows so have warming effects in here from early morning till early afternoon unless sun goes in of course. quick update my other half is home but slow progress with antibiotics reducing swelling and infection plus still a lot of pain as well, he is pottering around insisting on doing his cooking as well im rather unsteady with hot pans etc
  6. we are in a little town called leiston about a 5 min drive to sizewell beach very lovely area but when that wind blows of the north sea ouch

  8. just been looking at met forecast for next friday very chilly, daytime only 6degrees and night -2 as they say neer cast a clout till may be out.
  9. Afternoon everyone, sunny here as well but gusty winds and heavy looking clouds around as well, happy thought only 2wks this weekend and we get an extra hour of light in the evenings
  10. still very windy but sun trying to come out of hiding, have what looks like trampoline cover appeared in front garden parachuted in earlier not going out there to investigate as i am unsteady at the best of times[ neuro condition]
  11. agree with above poster, wind howling around outside the odd bang out there but no way am i checking outside bad enough earlier in daylight bringing wheelie bin from outside of of front garden onto drive. Family not impressed with me as i was given strict instructions not to do anything silly while their father is in hospital but told them i managed bin ok. flask now filled torches on table maybe they wont be needed
  12. real change from yesterday wet and windy here now will be fun tonight as that is when we will get strongest gusts so forecast says, looks like it will be time to have topped up flask and torch to hand in case we have joy of powercut. hubby still in hospital awaiting scan and on painkillers talk of it being an infection caused by his long term catheter chance he could be sent home with meds late today or tomorrow depending on scan result, thankyou all for good wishes much appreciated
  13. thanks everyone, they are doing tests and then a scan, he is waiting for a bed at the moment, has just messaged me and he is sounding quite cheerful, also have nice bit of sun still here in leiston but not for much longer looking at the cloud outside
  14. gorgeous day here, windows open and although clouding over now has been lovely and sunny quite spring like, upsetting morning as my hubby has been rushed to hospital with suspected hernia [sorry if that is off topic] not easy as our family do not live close by.
  15. just seen forecast! looks like we will need a jet ski by thurs to get from here to saxmundham that road is notorious for bad flooding, kite fliers should be happy though in the strong winds
  16. yes minus 10 from latest forecast looks like mid week there will be some cobwebs blown away, hazy sun here at the moment but has been another chilly day, looks like march has come in like a lamb but is going to roar like a lion before the month is out
  17. we had early morning frost or so my husband says he is the early morning person, no sun here at the moment and chilly out bit of a breeze as well, noticed crows around earlier unusual as we dont get them in our garden normally, have a good day everyone.
  18. dry here but gloomy and grey, had fog earlier, noted even sea gulls sat on next doors roof looked undecided on where to fly to in fact they looked fed up, everything seems very drear locally, maybe todays budget could be causing the usual what are we going to have to pay out extra for now?

  20. really cold grey and miserable here in east coast suffolk, regarding snow bomb mention was made a few days back about it but various agencies seem to be keeping quiet about it for some reason!!!
