  1. Me later when the precip all heads through the channel and France even though that's what the forecast has been for days: ssstwitter.com_1705416297442.mp4
  2. I'm guessing when the Wednesday low starts to appear on the radar we'll be able to see if it's further north or not? I know virtually all of the models are saying no but I just can't let this one go
  3. Apparently both ICON and GEM have moved the low further north again on the latest run, not sure by how much? I've no idea where to find charts lol
  4. The fact that the concern for days in the model thread was whether there was going to any precip to give us some snow but the cold was nailed on & certain and now it looks like we've got some precip in the forecast but most of it is showing as cold rain Why do these cold spells always turn out to be such jokes, if you don't laugh you'll cry lmao
  5. Everyone looking at the models this morning and seeing the length of the 'cold spell' now is that it.mp4
  6. Someone's hacked all the models and is messing with us, there's just no other explanation at this point it's beyond ridiculous
  7. Right I'm manifesting this!!! How good are the 12z's gonna be out of ten?: 7xQ4bIEGQGQNTRbj.mp4
  8. Whenever I hear the phrase "wintry mix" I just want to scream lol The weather Channel showing all of the precip for me as snow, MET has it as all rain, BBC goes in the middle with all sleet lol
  9. Very heavy snow in Rochester the best we've had since this whole thing begun! Just goes to show how things can pop up at the last minute, really wasn't expecting this! Decent sized flakes too!
  10. This is more like it! Heavy might be pushing it but certainly 'reasonably moderate' snow shower for the last half an hour here, roads and pavements white within minutes!
  11. So interestingly the MET have shower activity picking up in the next hour or two with yellows and greens showing on the precipitation intensity, we'll see what happens!
  12. Is anyone actually getting anything from that streamer through Sheerness/Maidstone/Paddock Wood area etc?
  13. Is it my imagination or is the midkent streamer moving a bit further East in the last few frames?
  14. That's true, I might have about ten flakes by an hour's time.... (yes it's very, very light lol!!)
  15. Streamer happening about 20 miles to my east while I'm stuck with microscopic dandruff flakes blowing in the wind...
  16. I'm wondering could it be that the ground is still warm from yesterday's 7/8C and its still retaining that heat because the cold hasn't had enough time to penetrate & so the snow is melting on impact? My technical knowledge is very limited so I could be talking absolute rubbish here but I'm just scratching my head over it not settling on pavements or roads at all thus far...
  17. Ok, getting a tiny bit concerned with the refusal to stick on pavements & roads now, other than the temperature being only just at zero (and I know it's gonna drop a little bit more still too) are there any other factors at play here...I've seen snow settle on wet ground before easily so it can't just be that either??
  18. Great to see the movement westwards bringing more of the region into the fun & games!
  19. BBC showing 4C over London this afternoon....wtf are they on???
  20. Don't take my word for it, check the netweather radar lol! The streamer is very narrow though so if I'm honest I'm not sure if its even gonna stretch to all of the Medway towns lol but we're still all under the heavier bit of the main band so even without the extra heavy streamer slither we're all good...it's all very messy this event isn't it!!!
  21. Medway crew - streamer incoming now so that should pep things up even more & yes settling is taking a while atm but the temp is still dropping so that should help too.
