mike57 I know Bempton well. The in-laws have a caravan at Flamborough and we regularly make the walk up the coast. Spent a lot of time in the White Horse.

Met Office have now issued a yellow warning for snow for Thursday. Anyone else think it's a bit weird that they are being so bullish when the temps are looking so marginal for snow?

Just me or are those streamers setting up over South West Wales heading in our direction?

Yeah, starting to look like it's pivoting to me too. I'm not hopeful.

Some heavier bands just crossing the Irish Sea. Will it be intense enough to make it to Sheffield/Rotherham though?

Also couldn't resist going for a walk in the snow just now. It's really tipping it down now in Rotherham. If we could get a few hours of this overnight we should have a good few inches by morning.

Same here in Kimberworth. I've got a dusting. Not going to get anything substantial at this rate.
