    I wish the sun would come out,been raining since 11:00. Nice little thunderstorm between 7&8am though so I'm pleased. Doubt there will be anything else here today...and I'm stuck inside because of the rain.

    First large cracks of thunder, jumped a mile as they woke me up!!

    I used to live in Brownhills and of course there are reports of thunder and lightning there now. We got side swiped a couple of days a go as well. Now had 3 rumbles in 5 days. So infuriating.

    Just drove through what can only be described as monsoon rain on the M6 between Cannock and Walsall. Dunno whether there was thunder...couldn't hear anything.

    Nothing here or than a bit of rain. Cloud looked so promising too. Only had 1 rumble yesterday too. I could cry x

    This "event" has probably annoyed and disappointed me more than anything this year. What happened?

    I have a horrible feeling I'm not going to see much from this except maybe a distant rumble or two. It's turned NW which will skirt the bottom of North Worcestershire and head into Wales. Well that's just a complete guess though. It doesn't seem that big any!ore either? Or is the rain today radar naff??

    Much taller deeper grey cloud currently rolling through. Very gusty but a warm wind. This is all coming up from the south.
