  1. Plenty more showers on the way behind it as well, finally got a slight covering here now sorry for the bad quality.
  2. Cheers Andy it just started snowing now very lightly
  3. Nothing falling in Hengoed yet but its clouding over the sky is looking orange to my north.
  4. I live near to Blackwood and just down the road from bargoed so here's hoping!
  5. Let's hope Henry Hoover isn't up to his usual tricks on the mountains.
  6. That streamer is either going to end up right over my house or miss me by a fraction, knife edge stuff!
  7. Some back edge snow starting to show up on the radar, the cold air isn't too far away now.
  8. Is this the trough Andy? It's looking quite good for the morning and afternoon, anything we get tonight will be a bonus.
  9. Agreed mate storm Emma produced the most snow I've ever seen in my lifetime and that windchill was just something else! Won't get snow like that again for a very long time. Even the slider low we had back last December gave us around 8 inches, it must have give you just under a foot in your neck of the woods?
  10. Not much forecast for Monday night into Tuesday now either, what an absolute farce of a winter.
  11. Looks like it's gone pear shaped, can't say i'm surprised really though. We might see some snow monday night into Tuesday but what an absolute disaster of a winter this is turning out to be. I still haven't seen a single snowflake, the last time that happened was in winter 2006/07, even in the very mild winters of 2013/14 and 2015/16 I saw some snow!
  12. The beeb are useless, why do people still watch their forecasts?
  13. Yep not much forecast only 2-4cms but it's better than no snow at all
  14. I just checked the met office website and we have a yellow warning for snow for the morning!!! For anyone who can't read the picture properly it says: yellow warning for snow between Fri 08.00 and Fri 13.00, regions and local authorities affected: Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Conway, Gwynedd, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Powys, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Torfaen.
  15. The meto mentioned some snow for the hills in south wales for the morning as the front pushes through, just wondering how the snow charts are looking?
  16. Any updates on if we are still forecast some snow for tomorrow morning?
  17. Doesn't look that good for south wales if I'm honest, does it take elevation into account?
  18. Grow up pal no need for that comment at all, the point I was trying to make is that you said the cold is always 10 days away and keeps getting pushed back, well not anymore the trends are there and the cold is coming so get used to it Also where in my comment did I say it was nailed on? Enlighten me
  19. The cold is less than 8 days away now, stop mis informing people.
  20. Beast 1 and 2 both produced dry powdry snow. This one was taken on the 18th of March, I can't see any wet slush in that photo a nice sand like snow dune you can see though which shows just how dry the snow was .
