I've only ventured into Croydon when Ronnie O'Sullivan was playing snooker in Fairfields Hall (back in the days of impressing Mr Snowraven into thinking I was 'the one' so that would have been 1997/1998 - I fell asleep when watching) or most recently watching Colin Fry in 2007 - can't see any offencive posts made, but maybe they were deleted before I saw them?- 810 replies

For someone who lives with depression, this current weather does nothing. I enjoyed yesterday where I could believe spring was round the corner, but today has brought me crashing back down... is there any hope of proper spring sunshine (and weather induced) happiness in the offering? I am on a proper downer and I think and hope sunshine is the natural medicine- 810 replies

The sun came out this afternoon here with nearly all clear blue skies. I couldn't resist a long overdue potter around the garden, tidying up and weeding - in my coat, scarf and gloves! T'was v cold but it was lovely to be out in the fresh air and sunshine- 810 replies

I think finding out the cause of 'global warming' (and that actually doesn't mean warming in the greater sense) is up there with finding out what created the Universe. We all have our opinions, but none of them can be proved beyond reasonable doubt.- 810 replies

I do agree PS, but don't think the sun is wholly to blame (assuming that's what you mean by the 1 million mile wide ball of fire in the sky - been a while since I have seen it past hazy cloud)- 810 replies

As long as they show warmth and sunshine, go ahead John. Something isn't quite right with our weather patterns, that's for sure... let's hope the past 12 months is a blip...- 810 replies

I just have one word to say.... WHY? Why are some of us still looking for snow this time of the year? Snow, you had your chance, you blew it this neck of the regional thread woods, so go do one! Bring on anything other than this dross.- 810 replies

Enjoying the sunshine this morning - might be freezing cold still, but I can handle that if the sun is shining Wouldn't it be nice if it hung around for the Easter weekend -

But no chance we might get to see some sunshine? It's the lack of sun that I am struggling with - I think it would really lift the mood if we could just have some blue sky and sunshine! -

This weather forum is great - once a member, you will be forever a member, no mater what As for 2009, that was a very rare event... last time I remembered snow at that depth was Feb 1991 I take it you aren't talking about the weather?- 833 replies
