Been snowing quite heavily here for a while but just not sticking (yet….please, ). I can’t give up hope yet

Snowing here now although fairly wet snow. But definitely snow! We’re at about 500ft

We had big flakes a few minutes ago - lasted about 2 minutes then reverted to general damp and rain!!!! gutted

Just had a huge gust - think damage in this area might be worse than after Isha. Might well be some trees down. Glad I am not needing to travel tonight!!

I never post in the Mod thread and it drives me mad sometimes but I still go back in winter every year to follow it - can’t help it! But it a shame when we’re having this lovely cold week and people forget to enjoy it at the time! Gorgeous blue sky and frozen snow cover here - a proper beautiful winter’s day. I’d live a long cold spell but I still want to make the most of this one. Hope everyone is having a good day

Plenty here, especially on the side streets (North Bolton). Also there is a lot of activity on the radar - met office says more rain for us later but the temp is dropping like a stone, so we’ll see. I’m hoping it might fall as snow.

nice big flakes here now but still no sign of settling. Hopefully later…

Bizarre here - snowing more intensely and reasonable flakes but seems to be settling less!! How can that be?

Been slowing steadily since 9am here but it is only really giving a dusting. I was hoping for more settling!! But nice to see the flakes at least

We had a big flash of lightning about 45 mins ago in Bolton. Took me By surprise but hope there are some more to see

Nice light covering in Bolton. Sky looks like it’s preparing to start snowing again. Everything lovely and still and calm for once!

We had some snow overnight but all gone now- was really wet but it did settle for a while. Still a few gusts of wind but much calmer! At least I’ve seen some flakes in the lamp post on the cars

Think I lied when I said there was a lull. Picked up again now, some really powerful gusts and rain back to wet snow. Be interesting to see what happens over night. I need to get some sleep because I have big stuff on tomorrow but want to stay up reading all your posts

Everything seems to be petering out literally about 3 to 4 miles east of here. So frustrating! But hopefully not the only chance. That band of showers heading west holds hope!
