    What an amazing day. Heavy snow continued in Whitley bay. Best spell of weather since 2010 in my opinion. Look how cold it is at a coastal location at this time of day... and it' nearly March!!! Looks like more to come overnight.

    I think Tyne and wear will get hit by it. Seems to have been picked up on the 18h gfs run. The flow turns east South East as the night goes on.
