Is it me or has the mad thread been obsessed with the south coast for the last 4 or 5 days ? What's so important about the South coast ?

Just got home.. felt quite tropical in my lorry when the sun was coming through the windscreen.felt different when i got out the cab......... Drove from Blackburn to Bolton over the tops, could see the incoming snow shower, within 30 seconds visibility had gone to zero. Had to pull over it was that bad. Anyway, most the snow melted here in Horwich except for shaded areas.

My Meto app has me now for heavy snow at 06:00 till 09.00 light snow showers till 15:00

Seriously mate, not worth worrying about. I take precipitation charts with a pinch of salt What does concern me is, if the Lp continues to move south. I fear it will be a midlands south event only.

I understand what you are saying.. for the next 4 days it's sunshine and the odd shower.. Friday is the day we ( could ) get really in the action. All day heavy snow would leave us all happy..
