    Anyways....I've noticed some of you have noticed this type of weather is becoming more common, ok yes not every year but the rate has grown, I'm not talking about just tropical storms I'm talking about all storms...(depressions including extratropical storms). It's actually rather easy...sea temperatures,, but there's a catch 22, salt water and freshwater and water currents.....have fun researching :). I don't want to go of topic. I brought this theory up about 17 years ago not 10 years ago I just remembered by chance of my daughters birth year hahah (such a great father I am). I have noticed my theory has come to light over the past five years. I'm not mad...just a little crazy haha.

    No no no you have it wrong, it's all in the stirring motion, water must not be too hot, the convection within the tea bag(air pocket) must be just right as it floats to the higher surface for cooling, then the special ingredient happens of the flavour mixing with the surrounding warm waters. Much like a hurricane really. As the tea bag and water move in a cyclonic motion you must remove the tea bag, then add milk slowly, you will notice the milk mixes in perfectly well without the needing to stir with a spoon......that sounds weather related I think.

    Oh I can make tea no problem, legend has it I'm the best tea maker ...30+ years making tea I have it down to a T. Honestly I'm rummaging around for information online and I got a little mixed up ooop's, this storm has my head swirling .....so many puns.

    Not much tbh, mostly North Ireland and Scotland will see most of the rain, this is a fast moving system so it won't hang around long enough to cause major floods or 100+mm like they produce in tropical climates. The main effects are wind/gust and swells. Luckily the ground is not saturated in mountain areas.

There is still a high degree of uncertainty regarding the exact track and evolution of the storm. However, storm force winds, heavy rain and high seas are threatened.     It's really humid and warm here today. Some strong winds but nothing out of the ordinary, a little bit of rain.

    It's strange reading everyone's posts, some excited some worried, but yet when I speak with those in Taiwan or the Philippines about Typhoons it's like they take it for granted, not always truly worried. A category 3 typhoon hit Taiwan a few months back as I was talking to a friend, who's city was in the typhoon's path, they said....it will be fine. A category 4 Typhoon hit the philippines a few years back (I lose track of names haha), yes schools were closed but people that I know there still got up in the morning and went to work....oh it's awesome when they step outside and livestream it, the wind makes a noise like that of a thousand ghosts racing past you, incredible.

    Update on Ophelia 12 October 2017 There has been some media coverage that hurricane Ophelia will impact Ireland to some degree at the start of next week. At this stage, there is strong evidence from the weather forecast models that its remnants will track close to or even over parts of Ireland, but at present, there are still a wide spread of possible outcomes. Our forecasters are treating the situation with caution and are in contact with our international colleagues, but given the lead time and the inherent uncertainties that come with the modelling of a tropical system it won’t be possible to quantify the exact timing, nor the strength or intensity of the wind and rain, in any great detail until later in the weekend. Ophelia won’t be a hurricane in meteorological terms when it reaches our part of the world as she will have moved over the cooler waters of the mid-Atlantic and undergone what is known as extra-tropical transition. So while there could be the threat of wind gusts reaching hurricane force or indeed heavy rainfall with this system, it means the traditional attributes of a hurricane – such as an eye or an eye-wall containing a core of hurricane force winds - are very unlikely to be present. Instead, it will likely engage and merge with a frontal zone in the Atlantic, morphing into a mid-latitude depression with tropical characteristics. Met Éireann forecasters will be keeping a close eye on the evolution of this storm over the coming days and warnings will be issued as confidence in the evolution allows. Met Eireann

    Weather (no pun intended) I hit or not it doesn't change anything, not the past present or future, the weather systems are changing, weather (again no pun intended) we like it or not, if this is due to human effects on the climate we did kinda ask for it really, this has been screaming to happen over the past decade, it has been predicted, but then again it is nature it does what it wants. I do have pity on those who will be affected (yes I have a soul), but this is not the time yet, this is the time to learn and prepare, not just for now or the coming days but for the generations to come.

    I like what I see here Earth , I have being using this as a tracker for some years now, I have tested this website with people from other countries such as Taiwan and the Philippines, the models do change but not as regular as I would like.
