  1. Unless its a hollowed-out american style chest-freezer then it might not be enough
  2. I have a bad memory for stuff like this, but I do remember late July and the early part of that august being hot and humid. Was one hell of a breakdown. lasted for at least 2 weeks if I remember.
  3. Whichever makes me suffer. Pretty simple really. In all seriousness though the way things are going there'll be a crisis in the hospitals with cases of heatstroke etc like in 2003.
  4. Little to no hope left now. I'll be reaching for the Prozac soon.
  5. Could see 30c as far north as where I am based on current output. Whilst I am pleasantly surprised that the conditions we have no are not as bad as I feared, whats being modelled for the weekend is nothing short of horrific.
  6. Best not look at the coming weekend and beyond then. The word vile comes to mind.
  7. Looking pretty nasty is you don't like it too warm. Once again what was modelled as pleasant will turn into hot and uncomfortable.
  8. Well netweather's forecast ironically says the opposite. Says we'll be warmer than london.
  9. A continental influence looking increasingly likely now. What could have been nice will now be spoiled by hot and humid crap. Always happens.
  10. You're lucky to be far too north to get the worst of what I fear is on the way.
  11. Because journalists are parasites that feed off of human misery. If I ever gained any political power, the newspapers would be the first to go.
  12. Ironically your neck of the woods will do better than where I am. I never welcome an easterly at any time of the year. Nights won't fall much below 14c either by the look of things. Will be more like 17c with all the heat from the day still lingering in the house.
  13. Pleasant conditions on the way out. Weekend looks like a transitional period to the easterly from hell. I wouldn't rule out high 20s at this rate. Nothing enjoyable about that.
  14. Sadly looks like the pleasant conditions are on the way out. Next week is looking vile. Wouldn't rule out the high 20s at this rate.
  15. Absolutely beautiful day today. The fresh breeze makes all the difference. So much better when everyone can enjoy the conditions and not just those that like it akin to a turkish bath.
  16. It always feels warmer than that in the sun. Its why I don't like seeing higher than high teens being forecast. You can always add 2 or 3 degrees to that in terms of how it feels, hence the weather we got last weekend was borderline for me. 24c in that sun is more like 27c
  17. as are mild winters but you wouldn't want me saying that now would you? Can't have it both ways if you're a "seasonalist" as most on here claim to be.
  18. Well if the weather stayed like it was today, then you'd get no complaints from me. High teen raw temps are where I draw the line though as in a strong sun, it will always feel like the low twenties. Sadly though the winds always veer into a bad direction at some point and the temps take the mick
  19. adblock plus works fine for me for the most part. adblocker ultimate is known to slow down some sites. Facebook lags to a crawl.
  20. Did feel better this morning before the rain arrived. Around 18/19c according to local stations. Even a few degrees makes a world of difference.
