    Well Romney Marsh snow shield at full force. Nice to see the HUGE streamer going just ever so slightly south of me and straight into the channel. Trying not to let it wind me up.

    Second that. Also wondering if ya tech person could make it so user location show next to the user name as it does on laptop version? As if like me im sure most of us view on phone when on the go, and it's a PITA keep going into profiles to tell where "IMBY" is actually located.

    I was thinking more on the lines of hairdressers water mister spray to hold the kids snowman together!? On the plus side, powder snow got to be great for sledging though, right? If it's deep enough? Kids wont get so wet as it don't stick to them?

    Great post. After being snow starved for years on end Its easy to get super excited and wrapped up in the prospect of taking the kids sledging, snow ball fights etc and maybe overlook the down side of such extreme temperature drop and snow on other more vulerable members of society. I appreciate the reminder, Im gona give my nan a ring and get her shopping and errands sorted just incase it does actually snow next week. Thank you.

    I live in that green area! Finally my nearly 7 year old will get to see laying snow and maybe make a snowman! Is that for Tuesday?

    Im in the south east corner and we have had no laying snow for 6 years if it doesn' snow this year!

    I'm glad i didn't just miss the warnings then! I bet it was nightmare on that Brenzett road to New Romney, open field for miles either side always blows the cars about. It's like a recycling bin massacre out there now! bins banging and crashing about and recycing flying about everywhere. I'm just greatfull the binmen get to me quite early, hate to think what places with later collections will look like !

    Its so typical isn' it! The roads are starting to flood here, the rain is actually being driven under my relatively new patio doors and it looks like a bin and recycling hurricane outside! Have any wind warnings be given out for south east coast do you know? cos i havent seen any? or is eveyone so pre occupied with snowmagedon "up north" that they failed to mention the hurricane like winds currently lashing the crap out of the southeast corner!?

    I know right...walking my kids to the school bus was bloody awful this morning, horizontal rain, its stupid windy out, i said to my eldest if it was cold enough this rain would hve been heavy snow and would have caused an awesome snow blizzard with massive snow drifts... Am proper gutted all we got was rain, again. 5 Years now and fed up with chasing snow. Im in the southeast Kent on Romney Marsh.

    no snow here just lots of driving rain and extremely strong winds! Have not felt wind this strong for a long time.
