Steady small flakes now in Warrington, 3rd time in a week! Amazing!

Looks like MetO are trending the forecast a bit colder now, however I do prefer our cold to come from the North West, when there is more chance of Snow, an easterly is usually dry and cold! All in all looking good for some 2017 cold I hope!!!

Walking up Ben Nevis in June many years ago I was shocked how much snow was still up there, allthough probably shouldn't have been. Looks like sleet here in the lofty heights of Warrington!

Can anyone advise if any snow in nw England will be from sea level up? Just that here in Warrington at the lofty heights of 11m asl we can tend to miss out when it's snoring everywhere else.. Thanks
