    The bbc forecasts are palpitating at the moment. Never thought I would see a forecast like it. Warnings popping up all over the place

    I still remember the Jan event. Had a yellow warning and ended up with 3 inches. So these dividing lines for warnings are very vague to me. Anywhere in the north east should expect the unexpected

    The low looks like it loses intensity as it moves north. I guess that’s a good thing. The 6z I thought looked stronger

    Must admit I’m a little nervous after seeing the 6z but UKMO isn’t on the same track yet so Friday still looks cold to me. Looking forward to later runs that’s for sure!

    UKMO greatly positioned to bring in exceptional cold for 1st March. Let’s hope this hits bullseye this time. A good chance of uppers below -15 by the looks of it. What a chart! That low over Italy is an absolute peach

    The thing to remember is many probably like me we’re hoping to see an exceptional spell of cold weather with the main cold pushing through the Uk with -15to -20 uppers and great snow showers. The UKMO has shifted this into France which is a shame. Nevertheless -10 uppers are still “freeze” worthy with temps 2 or 3 by day. Don’t know about the snow but I would imagine this is a dryer run.
