    Not sure I want a repeat of yesterday's performance! I love a storm, but some of those CGs at the end were too close for comfort! Interestingly, despite being slap bang in the middle of the high risk on the forecasts here, metO are only opting for a bit of cloud later!

    Well, if you were here you'd have wanted amber at least for flash flooding! Apart from the storm monsoon, we've had persistent rain that's only just stopped! I ignored the warnings and am now mopping out a flooded bedroom

    We had that too. We couldn't hear the tv at one point for the roar and thunder grumble. Then the hail started. Think we took a couple of direct hits locally and much as I love storms, this did border on the uncomfortable

    What an incredible storm we had. Torrential rain,massive gusts, strobe lightning and continuous rumbling to start with. Then came the hailstones battering the windows and cars and the rivers for roads. Then as the storm passed over numerous, massive CG strikes overhead. Temperature dropped 10c in minutes. We now have a cool evening (18c) with persistent rain- and it's lovely!

    To anybody in the path of this storm, it seems to be intensifying as it leaves here. Damaging gusts, hail and rain as well as frequent t and l . Some of those strikes were a bit close for comfort!

    Well, this is unreal. Strobe lightning with the bulk of the rain and on the tail end some of the biggest strikes Ive ever witnessed. At least half a dozen more or less overhead one of which has popped my internet out! Another was accompanied by a strange fizzing sound. Branches down, road flooded and huge hailstones. And a drop in temp of 10c!

    We have almost continuous lightning now and constant booming thunder. To think I expected nothing from such a cloudy, relatively cool morning!
