    I agree wih you. The Thames burst its banks here overnight, so flooding was already an issue. Combination of run off and storm drains blocked by debris from Henk has made for very hazardous road conditions this evening. Thought tonight's rain had stopped, but looks like it's pivoting over me and coming back!

    The Thames has burst its banks overnight in just about every spot in South Oxfordshire. Drove up to Milton Keynes this morning and a lot of roads were flooded already around here, but noticeably better in Bucks. The return journey was interesting with heavy rain and a rush hour. Add Hanks debris and it's pretty awful

    A couple of villages cut off by flood water/ fallen trees. It's a miracle nobody's been killed

    Henk's moved on here. Short, but intense. Trees, fence panels down. A couple of villages are cut off either by flood water or felled trees

    Recorded a 55mph gust. Impressive for this far inland. Lots of debris around- There must be a fair number of trees down further south . The winds seemed to come from nowhere, screamed for about 2 hours, and have now died right down!

    I thought that earlier. I'm bang smack in the middle of the amber warning, but the highest gusts have been recorded south of me

    Just recorded a 55mph gust, which is pretty high for here! I have light up unicorns for xmas in the garden and they've become casualties to the weather for the second time this winter

    It would explain why the forecast wind speeds shoot up very rapidly for a short while

    Just been upgraded to Amber for wind here- I can't remember when we last had an amber warning. Looks like the wind event is concentrated in a fairly small area

    It can be up to 8c warmer in Henley than Benson, even though both are by the river because of the Chilterns
