Have been into the weather since 1975. I worked freelance for BBC Kent and BBC South East for over 16 years providing Surf Reports and Storm Weather related material, live reports and forecast (last live broadcast was 2002).

Have been a Storm Chaser since 1987. Have been in five Hurricanes, four tropical storms and chased numerous tornados up to F4, have also been in 5 major snow storms in the USA and huge ice storm in Canada and USA.

I find good old fashion gut instinct plays a huge part of my weather life now, looking at the sky, reading the weather, fealling the conditions, cant beat getting up close to a strong wind or heavy snow fall!
