  1. Hi. Really biblical storm crossed the Humber, heavy rain, lightning and strong winds Regards Glenn
  2. Hi all, short clip from Grimsby Town Football Ground. Not mine but was sent it. Storms gone out to sea now yet it's so eerily quiet outside now and so humid still. Cheers. VID-20190827-WA0128.mp4
  3. I live behind the ground and I can see why it's off as the rain is biblical. Feel sorry for some Macclesfield fans though as their bus broke down on the way and they only got here about 25 mins ago. Cheers Glenn
  4. Hi all, constant disco flashing here in Cleethorpes, very heavy rain/ hail at times but the Lightning is so intense. The Humber is lit up!! Cheers Glenn
  5. Evening, Well, from the NW a lump of angry looking cloud approached Cleethorpes at about 2045 developing and growing by the minute ( very eerie to watch) until it was more or less overhead my location and still growing. A bit of rotation was seen and I thought we'd be having a good loud close storm........however......unfortunately it all just drifted over and out into the Humber without as much as a rumble or a drop of rain!! Still, it was amazing to watch it build as it approached. You can just see some towers in the far distance in the last pic no doubt heading for the Hull area.... Cheers, Glenn
  6. Hi, just a few from the last hour or so here at Spurn Point. Looked as though we were in for a good storm as it approached from the south west but as usual it seemed to weaken and we just had very heavy rain with a few rumbles heard. Cheers Glenn
  7. Afternoon, very heavy rain showers around Cleethorpes at the minute plus just heard a long rumble of thunder out in the Humber. Cheers, Glenn
  8. So, the one that came up from the South did produce some good Lightning just off the coast. After it passed the sky was very dramatic.
  9. Looks like that storm is coming up from the south, a couple of CG's sighted..........annnd here comes the rain!!
  10. Hi, Thunder heard off the coast of Spurn Point, very dark clouds out to sea. Cheers, Glenn
  11. Evening. Starting to get Lightning out to sea off Spurn Point Cheers, Glenn
  12. Evening all. Very bizarre here at Spurn Point right now! 15 mins ago there was a breeze, pretty cool breeze then within 5 mins it's picked up a lot but it's very very warm, like someone pointing a hairdryer at you yes the heat is unbelievable. I know there is that storm in Norfolk currently but could the sudden temp and wind increase be ahead of the system? Never experienced this before. Regards Glenn
  13. Hi, found this one too......just incase https://www.lehavretourisme.com/en/live-webcam
  14. Now it's Bremens turn..... https://www.wetter.com/hd-live-webcams/deutschland/bremen-kontorhaus/53c90e90d610f/
  15. Hi, Juicy storm over Oldenburg in Germany right now. https://www.wetter.com/hd-live-webcams/deutschland/oldenburg/5163e16134248/ Cheers, Glenn
  16. Morning, glad you saw plenty of action!! I was the other side of Horncastle and watched alot of the storms growing out if nothing. Driving home I hit a storm near Louth which was epic especially the wind which shook the car as it first blasted through. Saw another storm develop over the wolds which burst into Life as I approached Nth Thoresby and this one more or less followed me home to Cleethorpes and went on for a couple of hours. Best one of the lot was about half 9 ish though as another came up from the south, lots if flashing, flickering, Deep booms and sharp gunshot cracks . Glad you had a good one Cheers Glenn
  17. Being local to those area's I couldn't agree more. Donna Nook is a good spot as it's in between Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes and you can see what's coming for miles. The place always seems to attract storms as they head out to sea, also for a more panoramic view The Wolds roads from Louth to Binbrook seem alright but Louth- Horncastle road is good too. There's a place I go just outside Louth on the A157, just park up and watch em roll in!! Cheers Glenn
  18. Morning Not a sausage in Cleethorpes but very humid. Storm to the east of me been rumbling away in the Nth Sea since about 5am with the dark clouds sat tantalizingly offshore , storm to the NW peppered Killingholme, Barton before clearing off to the Nth Bank of the Humber!!. Sods law I guess but hey ho. Regards Glenn
  19. Hi all. Watched this approach us at Spurn from the west. Constant rumbling and flashing towards Immingham and Hull and I assumed it would pass us by. However the clouds built and approached then let go with a vengeance!! No Thunder and Lightning directly for us unfortunately as the main bit just went to the North West. Regards Glenn
  20. Hi all. Looks pretty awesome on this one too. http://www.camsecure.co.uk/portsmouth_gliding_club.html Cheers Glenn
  21. Evening All Every squall that blows in off the sea , Cleethorpes, seems to be ramping up slightly . Flash of Lightning about 20 mins ago towards the outskirts of Grimsby. Still that powdery pellet snow though. Cheers Glenn
