  1. Downgrade this morning with milder air on Monday much further north so cold rain on Monday at the moment. However models haven't been good lately with milder outcome generally being the final result.
  2. A dry cold start with a ground frost and patchy cloud Temp 0.9C low 0.7C, Barometer 1004mb falling, Wind F2 SSW, Rainfall nil
  3. A cool day after a mild start. Showers didn't produce anything apart from a few spots of rain mostly evaporating before it hit the ground Max temp 8.6C now 4.3C, Barometer 1005mb rising, Wind F2 WNW, Rainfall Trace
  4. With the low pressure further south than originally thought has allowed today's temperatures to be higher than thought yesterday. This may allow another rise for today rather than a drop but we shall see. Sunny Sheffield up to 3.6C -2.3C below normal. Rainfall 97.2mm 152.6% of average.
  5. A dry cloudy morning with a few spots of rain which quickly dies away. The sun now breaking out. Some showers in view. Cool after a mild start although the sun may push the temps to average Max temp so far 7.6C now 7.1C, Barometer 1004mb steady, Wind F2 WNW, Rainfall Trace
  6. Mild cloudy dry start Temp 4.1C, Barometer 1006mb falling, Wind F2 SSW, Rainfall nil
  7. Sunny Sheffield up to 3.5C -2.4C below average. Rainfall 95.8mm 150.4% of average. Models still all over the place so as to how far it rises before the months end is uncertain.
  8. A mild day mostly cloudy after early rain turned to drizzle. Odd sunny spells and isolated light showers in the afternoon. Max temp 9.9C now 8.3C, Barometer 1007mb rising, Wind F3 WNW, rainfall 4.4mm
  9. Mild damp start after light overnight rain Temp 4.4C, Barometer 1008mb falling, Wind F3 SSW, Rainfall 2.8mm
  10. Sudden switch tonight to colder outlook this evening but a dry and a Frosty one until Monday when it will see probably cold rain away from the highest peaks in the peak district.
  11. LOL a sudden jump to a colder outlook over the weekend the models really are struggling at getting a grip at the moment. Sadly a long wait for the ECM for a casting vote the tension builds. At least the GFS for us has the weekend dry while Bank Holiday Monday should be interesting for north eastern areas.
  12. Sunny Sheffield up to 3.3C -2.5C below normal. Rainfall unchanged. Much confusion with the coming Easter weather. Met office don't seem sure what it's going to do while the Beeb indicate a milder end to the weekend. UKMO indicates a similar temperatures as today once Wednesday is out of the way. At the present time it looks like we will end up between 3.8C to 4.2C in sunny Sheffield. So it will still be a significant could month for us and very wet. which is strange for a cold month. Nationally using the 0.8C general difference between sunny Sheffield at the CET zone as rough guide that puts the CET between 4.6C to 5C.
  13. Finally abit of back tracking on the Beeb forecast. Still notice too much snow being shown on the graphics but at least they are beginning to ditch the cold Easter idea. About 96hrs to late but better late than never. The forecast on the Beeb I'm afraid has got to have junk status awarded to it. I dunno if the ITV forecast uses more up todate weather than it used too but that's probably the one to use these days.
  14. A warm day with long sunny spells Max so far 11.9C now 11.5C, Barometer 1020mb steady, Wind F2 Variable. Rainfall Nil
  15. And guess what the temperature dropped. So I rung metcheck up and got a returns number hopefully the swapped one will do better.
  16. Davis quality doesn't seem to match their prices at times. That reminds me I've got to tape up the usb cable connector to stop it prevent it wearing out like the last one I had did. Also lets not forget the blowing cap issue.
  17. I'm surprised the television forecasts keep mentioning it even though the models are moving further and further away from the idea.
  18. Dry with sunny spells and generally mild Max temp 11.1C now 9.2C. Barometer 1016mb steady, Wind F3 NW, rainfall nil
  19. Sunny Sheffield up to 3.2C -2.6C below normal. Rainfall 92mm 144.4% of normal.
  20. The Thermometer is now back in the screen with a new set of clips. These don't allow for movement. Never dropped in the other location so I will find out tomorrow.
  21. Glue if possible otherwise look here https://www.weatherspares.co.uk/vue-spare-parts-20-c.asp
  22. Sunny spells feeling mild winds variable High temp so far 10.8C now 10.2C low 2.3C, Barometer 1015mb rising, Wind F3 variable, Rainfall trace
  23. Dry clear start temperatures still falling Temp 3C, Barometer 1012mb rising, Wind F1 Variable, Rainfall nil
  24. Trying to work which model they are using as they keep going on about cold weather later this week. The only model showing anything was Gem model which has ditched idea now.
  25. Brief promise of something brighter then cloud built again but staying dry. Not a cold day with temps just above normal after a mild start Max temp 9.7C now 8.3C, Barometer 1006mb rising slowly, Wind F1 E, rainfall 2.5mm
