  1. Not only has there been no snow but the rain has turned to light drizzle and almost stopped.
  2. 2017 Prediction: January: Cold, a bit of snow for midlands up with lots of cloud. February: Contrasting with January especially late in the month with pretty cold, clear frosty mornings maybe some snow for everyone. March: Becoming milder, a mixed bag of sun and cloud. April: Some April showers but lots of cloud. May: Same as April really. June: Cloudy first half and a couple of thundershowers with a heatwave 28-31.C end of month. July: Heatwave mid month reaching up to 35.C and a good thunderstorm for some. August: Nice summer conditions with sun but not too much extremes going on. September: Becoming cloudier but still warm spells. October: Cloudy and clear frosty nights towards Halloween. November: Colder than usual with snow showers late month across parts of England. December: Snowy month with white Christmas and -10.C.

  4. the last three days have been almost perfect winter days only need snow now. Peak low temperature: -1.C on Tuesday -4.C yesterday -7.C right now, maybe coldest since 2010, the sunset yesterday was really good lots of bright colours. the frost is also very hard today
  5. Grim morning with rain turning to cloud. At 1 there was torrential rain again and now bright sun with a full rainbow
  6. Good past three days, two days of heavy showers and the fourth frost which is the strongest yet this morning
  7. Second frost more widespread this morning all over the grass but not yet covering anything higher.
  8. 3rd November, first frost here, patches on the grass. Later than last year as there was one in October (only a small patch) but then I had to wait until late November for a second one.
  9. Another great Halloween day weatherwise. Thick fog this morning with low booms was atmospheric and now the suns out for the first time in a while.
  10. Still waiting for my first ground and air frost here. On this day last year I saw a small patch of frost but the first proper frost was on the 22nd November so I'm not expecting much yet.
  11. I don't think it is Salisbury plain as I can normally hear the distant booms when they're practicing.
  12. No thunder and barely any rain here but some great clouds to the east earlier.
  13. The worst affect on the planet has been improving healthcare as a few hundred years ago people had large families but half of the children would probably die before they became adults and people lived to a much younger age.
  14. I saw the fallstreak holes to the south of me but they were slightly too far away to see properly but still a cool sight.
  15. I find them exciting but not relaxing anymore after the plume storms of 2014 badly damaged a house near me and caused the loudest bang I've heard in my life with sparks going through the upstairs light.
