Sharp shower here which had strong gusts in it. Only short though and now it's fine again.

Best recent storm here was 18th September 2014. I didn't expect much that day although it had been humid and hazy but in the evening there was distant lightning approaching from the east/south east. It then stopped for a bit until at around 7:30pm deep booms of thunder were approaching and it had become night. It lasted for two hours with very loud thunder directly overhead every couple of seconds. The rain was very torrential and I just remember that the lightning was everywhere with intense flashes and strong gusts. Probably the best and scariest storm I've ever experienced.

Yesterday was great it was like a perfect summer day. Today was just cloudy but at least you can still go outside without the rain and drizzle :)

Torrential rain on the radar below me but here it is completely dry with some cloud and some blue skies.

Showers developing on the way back through Trowbridge. A tower is rising to the west of me as well.

Amazing light show way in the distance from that storm near Wycombe. I'm surprised I can see it.

13mm this hour and still raining. 18mm now. Loads of thunder and lightning but it's slowing going away now. Great storm.

Torrential rain massive booms

Skies darkening and a flash of lightning with a loud rumble.

I hope it's coming this way. The thunder from that storm is getting louder.

Distant rumbles still happening but still no storms overhead.

Lots of distant rumbles here about 20 minutes ago but none nearby.

Storm just died before it got here and I only heard 1 rumble.

Hoping for a direct hit later

Storm went around me to the south but there were massive booms and cool clouds.
