    Did an early stint on Oulton Broad for a few hours. 14 fish, Roach / Bream. Nice start weather wise then the clouds rolled in and I got soaked. Piccy of Bream approx 3.5lb

    Just been fishing onOulton Broad for 2 1/2 hours. Thunderstorms uncomfortably close to my North and South but I survived and had 5 fish.

    Well here in Corton, the first torrential shower of the day is over me as I type. I note a weather warning for ⛈ storms was issued at 10.40 bst

    My dad , who lives in Failsworth, texted and said some of the lightning was too close for comfort.

    So back home i would have had thunder, typical.

    Things building just South and inland near Beccles Lowestoft area. Could track over Corton.

    Another usable day. Warm but not uncomfortably so. Just sat eating lunch next to Oulton Broad, Lowestoft.

    Over at Corton, Suffolk, its sunny, extremely humid and 23C. Might be too far east to be in the convergence zone but you never know.

    Took my eye off the ball there. Not a drop of rain fell in Corton. Given the noise in our caravan its not surprising it drowned out any thunder.
