WillinGlossop just been out to the local shop and there was some sleet with the rain as i could see the icy bits on the windscreen. Joe, my youngest, has gone on a train photography expedition. His plan was to catch the first train from Hadfield down to Manchester Piccadilly, get the tram to Victoria and a train to Leeds. From his texts, it appears that his Leeds train was cancelled with the next one running late. I did warn him that after yesterday's industrial action, the train stock and personnel could be in the wrong places and lead to shenanigans today.

Interesting feature coming up from the South. BBC showed it yesterday but it was further East and tracking East of the Pennines.
