  1. Still waiting here in Newton Aycliffe. The snow distribution around the north east at the moment is bonkers depending on on location/height etc
  2. Having drove around a lot the past two days for work, most of the lying snow is above around 250m with patchy snow a little lower down. Shame really, giving the potential.
  3. Oh dear, well thats me not seeing snow... -0.5 and dew point at -0.8c lol Problem i feel is upper air temps aren't that low compared to the other day.
  4. We look to have a good couple of weeks ahead with things gradually becoming colder and colder with increased snow risk later in the week. Early hours of tomorrow morning will give some inland snow and keeping an eye on thursday for a better risk for our region. All very marginal at the moment.
  5. First time on here in ages, thought i would pop in and say hi as it's nearly Xmas. Oh...and we may see some snow soon with lots of interest for January
  6. This one as the snow melts as we approach 12 noon
  7. First real snow event of the winter across N UK - just as winter comes to an end this week Will be interesting to see what happens in the morning- A real wintry mix with huge variations from one place to another. Likely rain/sleet turning to snow for a few hours then back to rain at lower levels. I think above 100m more chance of a good snow fall and above 200m for decent accumulations and snow throughout? Thoughts anyone??
  8. Been a while for me since i last had a browse in here. Anything new? everyone okay? Looking forward to a return to summer, some very warm weather Sat-Mon.... slightly cooler along east coast
