    I hope im wrong but tomorrows event looks very much completely cancelled to my untrained eye ? bbc weather now says no.

    It was pathetic, 2 mins of heavy snow here. But whats fascinating is that we have pockets of snow, pockets of sleet and pockets of rain dotted about in our area due to tiny differences in temperature and elevation. Just took recycling to the tip, heavy snow in dobbs weir but rain here !?!

    With regards to some previous posts - No offence but theres nothing wrong with getting excited and hoping for a last minute change. This is the south east / east anglia thread by the way, the home of the 'marginal' event. Downpour, i saw some serious snow as a kid in chingford . West essex golf course, complete chaos and 6 foot drifts in the bunkers !!

    Thats what is so frustrating, marginal 3" snow event going the wrong way. Lets hope for a nowcast upgrade.

    Thanks for that Steve and Kent blizzard. After all these years I dont think I can bare to see another marginal snow event go the wrong way. What do we have to do down here to see snow in winter ?!?
