    well here we are in September, and it looks like summer hasn't thrown in the towel.... yet mind you i have missed the plumes this year and the radar watching, although i have had *some* storms. didn't really have a real hum dinger. maybe it will snow again in December.

    I'm not calling anything till we are sure. Just as i'm not calling it that we are done with storms and the like. Bedford produced one of the best storms i had ever seen in october one morning...

    If you think about it, it's perfect BBQ weather. No baking hot sun on your back, a breeze to get the coals going. We should be used to it raining when you get the BBQ out anyway. Warm enough to sit outside. win win

    I have to admit i am been loving this cooler weather. The only thing i am missing is the chance of storms, the only thing i can tolerate a bit of heat from. Although like @Tom Quintavallesaid above, we still have August to go and even September these days can throw in a few surprises. Still time for that heatwave.
